Kansa Wand Body ToolIncorporate a 5,000-year-old massage technique into your body care ritual! The Kansa Wand is an ancient Ayurvedic tool that predates the jade roller & gua-sha, originating during the bronze age in India.Use this tool to relieve muscular tension, draw-out toxins, reduce inflammation, oxygenate the skin, smooth the visibility of fine lines & wrinkles, balance pH & increase your healthy inner & outer glow!
This Kansa Wand can be used on both the body & face. Pair with your Paavani Body Oil & Serum.
Kansa is a sacred type of metal made by combining copper & tin in a ratio of 4:1. This combination is called bronze in the West & Kansa in India. It is a hard metal that makes up cymbals, bells & Tibetan gongs; therefore, it is also referred to as "bell metal". Kansa metal is known for having the unique power to heal & restore balance in the skin, body & soul due to its natural ability to balance pH.
How to Use:
- Face: Apply Paavani Serum to the face & neck. You can also apply a few extra drops to the top of the wand.
Heal: Move in circular motions, focusing on the areas that hold the most tension or expression lines. As you roll the wrist, apply a slight pressure to th skin. Use friction along the jaw line & aside from that, use small circular motions.
Holistic healing experiences are approximately 15-20 minutes, starting at the forehead on the face & working counter-clockwise in circular motion, returning to the forehead once again.- Body: Oil the section of the body with Paavani Body Oil. In circular motions, apply firm pressure, paying close, kind attention to places of strain. If greying occurs to show detoxing, simply wipe off oil following use. What is greying? Read "The Greying Effect" below.
- An experience should last 90 minutes.
- Face + Body: Start at the top of the body & move downward, make sure you finish on the heels of the feet, to ground the body's energy & detox the whole system.
Care Instructions:
- When you first receive the tool, use a non-abrasive & chemical-free soap.
- Rinse the tool in cool water (never hot).
- We suggest utilizing white (sterilized, organic) Kaolin clay or tea tree oil to clean the wand, however, practitioners may choose to use a bacteria-fighting agent as per state requirements (UV Cabinet).
Greying Effect:
- When bronze transmits electromagnetism, it reacts positively when acidity is present. Therefore, the primary reason for greying is the drawing out of acidity from your skin, which is a positive thing! It means that you are effectively eliminating excess acid & toxins while reducing inflammation. Just wipe off the grey oil with a steamed towel & a mild cleanser.
- Greying will not happen every time, as it depends on how the environment has effected your skin. So, don't worry if you don't see greying every time.
- The Kansa wand also pulls toxins, acidity & inflammation out of the body, working on the body's subtle electrical fields that run in the collagen & fascia layers.
