GUNAS is an independent, woman owned clean beauty label with a cause! Started in 2009 by designer and animal lover, Sugandh G. Agrawal. GUNAS' heart and soul screams to be the voice of animals. With an award winning design and business background, Sugandh quit her 7-year corporate career as an Industrial designer at KitchenAid to start her own brand of cruelty-free fashion and beauty in New York. Her mission is strong and clear. Animals are NOT meant to be a part of beauty. We can look and feel good without harming other living beings. We need to connect our selves with what goes on behind the scenes and question our actions and their impacts.
GUNAS products are available for purchase at Macy's Heralds square in New York City and over 50 speciality boutiques all over the world. The brand currently ships product to its customers in over 40 countries world-wide.
After creating a strong foot hold in the fashion industry, Sugandh embarked on a new adventure of creating clean beauty products for her customers. In 2020, the brand launched its first collection of luxury clean beauty bath soap bars made from locally sourced greek olives and handmade by greek artisans using the best organic ingredients that are palm oil free, paraben free, toxin free, vegan and cruelty-free. The result was a beautiful luxurious soap line that smell heavenly infused with essential oils and suitable for all skin types. The brand is now working on introducing more clean skin care products and will be adding new products to its portfolio. All products are PETA Certified Vegan.
